We also supply goods to small businesses and nonprofits feeding people across Baltimore. Most food donations will be provided by a local foundation and others by emergency food efforts. Some food will be procured from Black farmers in the region and produced by BYI. Since March 14, we have collectively:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Provided 500 to 600 nutritional balanced meals per day <\/strong>(with support from Mera Kitchen Collective &amp; Wilde Thyme)<\/li><li><strong>Shared 200 total bags of activities and hygiene products<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Shared over 5200 total meals<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Worked over 800 hours of service<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Provided on-site and provided resources to other communities<\/strong> from West, East and South Baltimore<\/li><li><strong>Procured 50 <strong>pounds<\/strong> of salad and brassicas from a local farm<\/strong> and <strong>harvested 30 pounds of collards from our farm, Cherry Hill Urban Community Garden<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Distributed 10,000 pounds of fresh, frozen, and dried goods<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food-1024x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-378\" width=\"501\" height=\"501\" srcset=\"https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food-1024x1024.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food-300x300.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food-768x768.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food-1536x1536.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food-250x250.jpeg 250w, https:\/\/amstcommunitystudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/food.jpeg 1772w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 501px) 100vw, 501px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Please feel free to donate to our work through <strong>PayPal (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:blackyieldinstitute@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\">blackyieldinstitute@gmail.com<\/a>) <\/strong>and <strong>CashApp<\/strong> and <strong>Venmo<\/strong> ($\/@blackyield).
